Sometimes, our best intentions drift… and the normal stuff of life knocks us off course when it comes to living together in a community, on mission to make disciples of Jesus. Thursday nights at EQUIP is an opportunity to strengthen that community while growing in our ability to articulate what we believe. The goal of EQUIP is to provide the members of Freedom with an intelligent, articulate, and uncompromising, yet gracious Christian perspective on the most important issues concerning the truth of the Christian faith today.

 

Our first topic is the most important piece of “gear” a believer can EQUIP themselves with - PRAYER. The stronger we are in communion with the Lord, the better prepared we are for all other issues, questions, and events we face everyday.

 

EQUIP is open for anyone to join. We will meet in the classrooms where Freedom Kids meet on Sunday mornings, tonight at 6:30. We will have space for the kids to hang out and play so feel free to bring them along. Come and join us as we EQUIP ourselves to answer the call of 1 Peter 3:15 - “Worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”
